REBOUNDS PROPEL MEN'S PLAY-IN WIN

Doubling up the visitors in rebounding helped propel the Northwest College men’s basketball team to a play-in victory at home Saturday, defeating Western Nebraska Community College 85-73 to advance to the Region IX Tournament.

TRAPPER MEN LEAP TO SECOND PLACE

The Northwest College men’s basketball team leapfrogged its way into second place, defeating Western Wyoming Community College 75-62 on Feb. 25, ending with a four-game winning streak in the regular season.

TRAPPERS SURGE TO END SEASON

Finding its stride late in the season the Northwest College men’s basketball team has locked up a top three seed and remains in the hunt for the top spot in the region, after defeating Central Wyoming College 61-53 on Feb. 18 and Casper College 79-70 on Saturday to reach a three game winning streak.

An important win snapped a three game losing skid for the Northwest College men’s basketball team, as the Trappers rallied with a big second half to defeat Gillette College 81-66 at home Saturday.

NWC MEN STUMBLE ON THE ROAD

A narrow overtime loss followed by a disappointing performance led to two road losses for the Northwest College men’s basketball team, which lost to Eastern Wyoming College 78-73 in overtime on Thursday before trailing the entire contest in a 99-63 loss to Laramie County Community College on Saturday.

TRAPPERS FALL IN FINAL NONCONFERENCE GAME

The Northwest College men’s basketball team, beginning January with a true road test to prepare for the Region IX North schedule, fell to Dawson Community College 92-88 on Saturday.

NORTHWEST MEN FALL SHORT OF 2-0 FINISH TO END SEMESTER

The Northwest College men’s basketball team finished 1-1 in its final two games before the winter break, defeating Arizona Western College 79-70 on Dec. 17 and falling to Central Arizona College 70-66 on Dec. 18 to wrap up the Chapman Winter Classic at Arizona Western College in Yuma.

NWC MEN DOMINATE REGION IX OPPONENTS

The Northwest College men’s basketball team put together two strong games on the road against Region IX South opponents at the Western Wyoming Community College Classic in Rock Springs, defeating Northeastern Junior College 90-51 on Friday and Otero College 69-56 on Saturday.

Welcoming in one of the top teams in the country over Thanksgiving weekend, the Northwest College men’s basketball team competed but came up short against visiting Snow College on Saturday 79-67.

NWC MEN DOMINATE HOME CONTESTS

Dominant performances over three separate days helped the Northwest College men’s basketball team to a strong showing in front of the home crowd, defeating United Tribes Technical College 94-66 and Williston State College 94-76 during the Coach Collins Heart of a Champion Classic before defeating the Rocky Mountain College JV 102-49 on Tuesday night.

NWC MEN FALL SHORT IN IDAHO

The Northwest College men’s basketball team dropped a pair of contests while continuing its roadtrip in Idaho, losing a neutral site game to Green River Community College 86-79 on Friday before losing to host North Idaho College 64-60 on Saturday in Coeur d’Alene.

Heading on the road for the first time this season the Northwest College men’s basketball team suffered its first loss Thursday to Dawson Community College 82-75, before rebounding for two wins, 81-70 over Miles Community College 81-70 and 81-65 over United Tribes.
